a beautiful afternoon in Vancouver…

I feel so lucky to have met Katherine & Ian through the Modern Celebrant, Michele Davidson. They are getting married this December in Vancouver, Canada. We started at their house where the most magical old weeping willow grows. We then headed on to one of their favorite walks along McDonald Beach. There is so much love, laughter & spirit in this family! Ian proposed to Katherine in New Zealand (where her family is from). They brought home beautiful Jade necklaces carved in the traditional Māori style. They are incorporating many aspects of the Māori culture into the wedding, which are the native people of New Zealand. I am so excited for their winter celebration!
